Fall Festival
Today was the mom’s Place Fall Festival. Kiersten had a lot of fun as well as all the other kids. Bleow is a picture of Kiersten. She had fun making a fall frame, decorating a pumpkin, doing a floor puzzle and playing with playdough.

Well Kiersten is still doing well after the car accident - Than k God, Mom on the other hand has a concusion, no bleeding in the brain (they ran a cat scan) but am too dizzy to drive anywhere, and I have a constant headache and am forgetting many things. The doctor says just to wait it out and it should go away. I see him again in seven days. But on a better note, I finally gained up enough strength to take Kiersten to a pumpkin festival yesterday with our friends Lisha and Haley. The girls had a lot of fun. Here are some pictures. The rest are on the MSN website.
On Friday around 11:30, Kiersten and I got in a car accident. We were only driving about 25 mph, it was wet out and we were heading from from Wallmart supercenter to the mall to get her pictures taken. WE had barely left Wallmart when we went around a curb and lost control. Now from being up North in Icy situations, spinouts are usually something I know how to pull my self out of, but unfortunally you need good tires to get yourself out of them, which Brian had just said that morning that I should not drive that car until we get new tires on it. After the accident the police officer said that they were two grades below legal limit. I believe that and the rain is what caused the accident. Anyways, after loosing control and spinning around, We hit the guard rail which made us flip one and half times, landing upside down, almost in a ditch. I immediatly went into panic mode because I heard all the glass shattering around me. Kiersten hanging upside down and starting to wimper I jumped in the back seat, unbuckled her, got her right side up, covered her face from the glass and started to kick the window. For some reason I did not even try to open the door, just figured that I could not open them. Now thinking back at the situation, the child safety locks were on and I would not have been able to open them anyways. But luckily a man saw what had happend and saw that I was trying to kick the window and came over and opened the door. We got out of the car (this all happened within a matter of a minute) and Kiersten was ok. I of course being a mom had no concern over me, just Kiersten. When I saw that she was ok. I began to shake and the three men that were helping me calmed me down. Kiersten was as calm as could be. They checked Kiersten out in the ambulance when it got there and she was ok. I just told them that I was ok, so they did not even check me out. When we finally got home, after buying a new car seat - you can not use a car seat after it has been in an accident- I was so concern about cleaning Kiersten up and getting her something to eat that I was not able to clean my self up. Well my precious angel, saw that my feet were still bleeding, because my sandles slipped off in the accident (Brian found it still stuck to the peddle today when we went to go look at the car). Kiersten walked all the way back to her room opened the cabninet and got a baby wipe, walked back out to where I was making her food and started to wash my feet. Here my angel was concern about her mommy and taking care of me. Brought me to tears! What a special little girl God made. But I have to add that the whole time during the car accident, God was with us and protecting us. To walk away with only a bad bruise ontop of my head and a broken pinkie toe, nothing on Kiersten, It is visible that God was with us!!! Here are the pictures that we took today. The car is obviously totaled!
Kiersten’s First Haircut - Ok I know that this picture is almost a month old, but it is too cute not to share!
