Hi Everyone. In case you
Hi Everyone. In case you have been wondering why I have not been writing, I am still in Dayton. Grandma past away on Sunday, October 12th. While I was getting ready for her viewing I called my dad to try to find a babysitter for the funeral the next day. Good thing I did because he told me that my grandpa Bruce went into Hospice and might not make it through the night. Well he did make it through the night, a couple nights and most of his family as well as my dad’s family was able to see him. On Saturday morning, I woke up and decided to go see my Grandpa Max (my grandma who past away’s husband). Kiersten and I went out to lunch. We were planning on stopping by Hospice on the way back instead of going there first. Well it was a good thing that we did that because he past away about an hour before I got there. My brother to drive down there from stopping me from going in. It is not like I would not have wanted to see him one more time, but I would not have wanted to take Kiersten in there at that time nor do I think that I would have been able to handle seeing Grandpa Bruce pass, while I watched Grandma pass just a couple days before. Both are not hurting anymore and both are in a better place. I had a dream last night about my Grandma that she was playing games and acting like she was 35 years old again. I remember thinking in my dream of how amazing it was on how active she was and how full of life she was when just days before she was laying in the hospital bed. Our whole family was there laughing and playing games as well. I don’t know, but to me that was either God or my mind saying that she is ok and having a great time up in Heaven. It’s kinda weird, I also had a similiar dream after Betty, Mandy’s mom passed away. It is peaceful to know that they are ok.
On other news Kiersten has had some milestones since we have been in Dayton. The first, she has mastered crawling. She can do all fours and has the cordnation down. She will also pull her self up on things that are low enough for her to do so. I told Brian that he had to go and childproof our house before we get back home. The last milestone that she reached was her two front teeth finally broke surface. It has been some very tiring nights for us, but they are finally through!!! WAY TO GO KIERSTEN!!!!!
I am happy that Kiersten got to meet two wonderful people before they past - Her great Grandma huggler and her great Grandpa Bruce.
