No pictures yet because of the computer situation, but I wanted to let everyone know that Kiersten’s first tooth has broken through. It is her bottom left one. Quite sharp I may add. Her second one on the bottom is on the verge of coming through and one on the top. It has been some restless nights for mom and Kiersten but we will get through them.
She has also started sitting up on her own. She can sit by herself for about a minute to two. That is if she has her full attention on her toy. Crawling is not too far from now, when we place her on her stomach, she kicks and scoots her way to her toy. She needs to build some upper body strength before she actually crawls, but the scooting is going good. I guess I should cherish this time because here in a month or so, I will never be able to sit down because of her.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE MIKEY and AMY! We wish that we could be with you guys on your birthday. We hope that we will see both of you real soon. We hope that it is a great one, and just think one year until the BIG 30! Man your guys are getting old!!!

When I was up at Fran’s house, we went to Olan Mills to have pictures taken. We originally went to Olan Mills and then on a whim we went to Picture People. That is why she is in the same dress for both places. But anyways, below are some of the pictures. Olan Mills asked Fran to sign a release because they want to blow up one of the pictures (it is not shown here) and display it in their store. Fran is going to go to Olan Mills today and take a picture of it hanging up. Once she does that I will be sure to post it! 4 1/2 months old and already becoming famous! Atleast in Crown Point, IN, she will be!
While I was up at Brian’s mom’s house, we stoped and got these pictures taken of Kiersten. Isn’t she beautiful!!!

Hello Everyone. Sorry that I have not updated the site lately. I have been out of town visiting the grandparents and other relatives up north. Then when I got back, Brian’s laptop shut down. That was the only computer that we had that was working. So I dug out all the cords and everything for my old computer that my dad got for me back in 1996, blew all the dust off of it and hoped that it would still work, atleast long enough to get email off of the computer for Brian’s job. Actually it has been working a little bit longer than I expected. Let’s keep your fingers crossed. I can not put up any pictures because tjis computer is only a Pentium I, with very little memory. But as soon as we can buy a new coputer I will put up some new pictures.
Kiersten went to the doctors last week. She is now 12 lbs 10 oz, 24 1/2 inches long. We started her on solids last week. What fun that was. Let’s just say that Brian and I now have learned that the best way to feed her is when she is naked. We got some funny pics that I will put up as soon as we can. Her first solid was Squash. I don;t know how she likes it. I always have to taste it before her to check the temp and it is gross! But oh well she likes it. We are switching to Carrots tonight. I am curious to see how that goes. You are suppose to start with vegtables first, light to dark and then to fruits. I guess appearently they will like fruits more because they are sweeter so you always want to get them to like veg. first.
Had a great time back home. Kiersten loved (re)meeting all her grandparents and some new friends. She loved hanging out with her new friend Nicolas (my friend Shannon’s child)..she was even trying to sneak him some kisses.
