Everyone always said how much
Everyone always said how much that Kiersten looks like me, But check out the picture below of Brian at his birth. Kiersten looks just like her daddy! We are not quite sure if that is a good thing or not!

We just got Kiersten’s birth picture today. Oh look how she has grown!
Mommy and daddy’s friends Shannon and Alvaro just gave birth to a baby boy on May 21, named Nicolas Aleaxander. I can’t wait to go up and play with him in a week!

Yesterday was Brian’s and I first Anniversary. Saturday we were able to get someone to babysit for us so that we could go out to dinner! Thank you Mandy & Chris! They said that Kiersten did great, they put in her baby Einstein video and then took her for a long walk. She did not start to cry until Mommy and Daddy walked in. So that tells me just how spoiled she is with the two of us.
Brian and I kicked back last night after we put Kiersten to bed wit ha bottle of champagne and of course the traditional year old wedding cake. We watched the wedding video and reflected that a year has gone by. In so many aspects it seems like it has been longer than a year because of all the things that we have gone through. In the video we watched my dad give a speech about all the things that we had going on while planning the wedding..graduation..moving..wedding…new job. He said that those were the most stressful things in a person’s life and we were doing it all at once, but only if he knew what was to come. The stresses were only beginning then. In a years time not only did we uproot to Florida, but we both found new jobs, bought a house and had a child. Now those are all the stresses that a person goes through in a lifetime and Brian and I managed to squeeze it in all in one years time. But because of that, both Brian and I feel that what would have tore most marriages apart actually brought us closer. Down here in Florida, while we were going through all this we had no family to lean on and no friends to lean on, so we found leaning on each other was the only thing that we could do. By this it built a great foundation for our friendship, our family and most important our Marriage!
Oh ya, my present to Brian for our anniversary was something that he has wanted me to do for a very long time, but I was very stubborn about, I offically became a Willey. Now and forever. No hyphenation, Just straight up Kelly Willey. I realized one day all the sacrifices that Brian does for me and that is the least that I can do for him!
I went to lunch with Mandy yesterday at Brandon Mall, after some shopping, I decided to go see if Kiersten’s pictures were ready. They were!!! So of course I am posting them. The first two are pictures that we do not that many of, the other which was not the best of the three is what we got our package in, you know the first excepted pose had to be the package that we accepted. So anyways here they are:
Thank you Nanny Franny for giveing me a place to play while mom can actually get stuff done around the house - although this happiness does not last for too long. In a couple months though I know i will love spending hours in this!
Today it is Kiersten’s 3 month birthday! Can’t believe that is has already been three months. It goes by so quickly!
